Día de Muertos is a Mexican spiritual, multi-day celebration that bring together friends and families to pray for and remember those have died. The intent is to support them in their spiritual transition/journey.

This year we stand in solidarity and in support of our Black, Brown, and Indigenous Brothers and Sisters who have lost their lives to violence. And those who lost their lives to COVID and other diseases or reasons.

November 1 is “el Dia de innocents,” or the day of the children, and All Saints Day. November 2 is All Souls Day or the Day of the Dead.

We will provide an altar for those wanting to bring a item in remembrance of and honoring those who have lost their lives.

Please stay tuned as the details of this event unfolds.
